Sophia’s Spring Wardrobe List: Number One

After the last North Carolina snowfall, the air has been crisp in the morning and warmer during the day. Is Spring among us? In honor of our excitement, I’ve compiled a list of looks for the start of Sophia’s spring wardrobe and I’m sharing them with you! There will be a “Number Two” to this post so stay tuned for more styles I’m loving!

LOOK NUMBER ONE: Dark Florals & Silver Boots

SIMILAR DRESS // SOCKS // Similar SHOES

I’ve highlighted the shoes I linked before because I’m obsessed with them and believe every mini needs a pair!

Look Number Two: Black on Black

// BEANIE (less expensive) $4 (Also obsessed with THIS ONE) // DRESS (under $15) // SHOES (50% OFF) OR (similar, less expensive versions HERE & HERE) // KNEE HIGH SOCKS (Also HERE & HERE)

This look is fabulous, and thankfully Sophia already has 2 out of the 4 items from this look so I’m not spending a ton of money on it. Black is so chic- yes, even on toddlers!

LOOK NUMBER THREE: Cool, Casual and Collected

DENIM TOP (ALSO HERE & HERE) // LEGGINGS (These are a MUST-HAVE! On sale for $4!!!) // CONVERSE // SHADES (Also loving THESE & THESE)

This look is so effortless and cool. Everyone needs a pair of classic chucks- and I’m so excited for Sophia to get these! They’ll go with so many outfits.

The next part of this post are dresses that I’m currently OBSESSED with. You’ll notice a light pink trend- but I can’t help it. Not only is the color sort of a universal “girly” color, but it’s also the perfect color for Spring!

DRESS NUMBER ONE

Nordstrom Rack | UNDER $20 // SHOP IT HERE //

DRESS NUMBER TWO:

NORDSTROM RACK | UNDER $25 // SHOP THE DRESSES HERE //

This adorable peplum floral dress comes in both Ivory and Mustard and I’m going nuts waiting on them to get here! They’re the cutest little dresses for the season! And how stinkin’ cute are those ruffled sleeves and the key hole back detailing?!

DRESS NUMBER THREE

H&M // UNDER $10 // SHOP IT HERE

I ordered this dress with full intent on it being Sophia’s Easter Dress- but I’m not sure I’m going to be able to wait that long to put her in it.

DRESS NUMBER FOUR

H&M // SHOP IT HERE

These sequins and ruffles are everything! I’ve been searching and searching for the perfect dress for her third birthday party and am so glad I found this one. Gold and pink are perfect together and this dress screams adorable!

There will be an add-on to this post- these looks are just the start of a fabulous spring wardrobe!

A Snowy Day in North Carolina: Part Two

When we first moved here, our wonderful neighbor told us that it rarely ever snows. This is the second snowfall of the season so I’m thinking Mother Nature showed up to impress this little girl and fill her (and her pup) with pure joy! Full disclosure, we couldn’t find any of her hats so we had to throw one of Jeff’s on her.. Haha! You gotta do what you gotta do sometimes!

// GLOVES // SIMILAR JACKET #1 // MOTO PANTS //

I’m also super obsessed with these Jackets: // STYLE 1 // STYLE 2 // STYLE 3 //

// SIMILAR SUEDE BOOTS //

I’m obsessed with this leather jacket for so many reasons, but the main one would probably be the fact that I can just wipe it clean and messes come right off! All of my mamas with toddlers know exactly why that’s so important! These suede boots are the same- give them a good wipe and they’re good as new! Moral of the story: Faux Suede and Leather are great materials for kids clothing!

Our boy has loved the snow ever since we lived in Upstate NY at Ft. Drum- it’s a little less than he’d like, but he’s happy! His favorite thing to do is catch snowballs. I can’t lie, it’s probably one of the funniest things that I’ve ever seen.

We hope all of our fellow North Carolina friends and family have enjoyed their snow day too!

SNOW DAY IN NORTH CAROLINA

If you’re on the east coast like we are- you already know we got hit with some serious cold weather last week! East coast states all the way down to Florida felt the bitter cold arctic temps and even saw some snow! It actually snowed in my hometown- Tallahassee, Florida for the first time in almost 30 years!

When Sophia was born we lived in Upstate New York at Fort Drum (talk about FREEZING cold, y’all. This Florida gal couldn’t hang) and we moved back to Florida for a year while Jeff was on rotation in Korea. She was only a year old so she didn’t remember ever seeing snow. Needless to say, seeing her face when she felt that cold fluff for the *sort of* first time was magical for Jeff and I!

I did my best to capture the cuteness for y’all- but it was short lived because she was EVERYWHERE! For those who are interested: The links to her outfit are posted below!

SHOP SOPHIA’S:

COZY PULLOVER SWEATER // LEATHER JACKET (similar style) // SILVER SPARKLE BOOTS These boots are SO CUTE and sparkly! They have ribbons for laces, a grey velvet exterior, and the snow is covering the glitter on the toe caps but trust me on this one- every little girl needs a pair of these!
